My name is Jeff Shapiro from the Boston Metro Area. As you can tell from my Ebay nic "dirtyoldcovers" I collect and exhibit Twentieth Century postal history, including US (the Prexies, Clippers, 3c "Win the War") and German Post WWI Inflation. I also have an extensive accumulation of National Air Mail Week covers. I am an accredited APS Philatelic Judge as well as long-time Show Chair for Philatelic Show, held annually the first weekend of May. I'm a long-time member of the APS, USSS and AAPE and belong to five area stamp clubs. Now that I'm retired, I have more time to enjoy my stamps and philatelic "phriends" If I can assist any of you with postal history questions, let me know !

Jeff, nice of you stop on in. i know you already well from Steve Davis' US group. You are a great asset there, so i expect nothing less here.

Of course, I still remember the triple weight 30c Globe to Belgium a certain someone wanted more than my wallet would allow.

Welcome Jeff, nice to have you and all your dirty covers here.

Welcome Jeff! You are referring to the Philatelic Show in Boxborough May 2-4 are you not? If so, there will be a contingent of Stamporama members there! I will keep you in the loop and let you know more if you interested in chatting at some point.

BTW, I love Boston as long as I do not have to drive in the downtown area!
