There was a committee formed for that purpose, Kelly. I was part of it at first, but had to resign due to other pressing matters. Lists were beginning to be compiled, but once I was out of the loop, I heard no more about it. It does seem like a very simple project, doesn't it: just identify the resources available to members which they are willing to share. I do not think it needs a "committee," merely a couple of volunteers to compile and sort the list and publish it on SOR - not exactly rocket science. Perhaps if we could find a couple of pragmatic members with some time, they could kick start the project anew.

I don't wish to part with these, but would be glad to look up anything for anyone who needs some information.
I do have two bankers boxes of mail auction catalogs, most of which have beautiful color photos of unusual material of interest to specialists, that I would like to sell to anyone who might be interested, and will probably list them on here eventually.
Anyone interested in such catalogues please private message me and I will try to describe them.

Hi,
I own an extensive Postal History library specializing in Post Office Books and Machine Cancel Books. I have a lot of out of print books.
I have listed all these in a Bibliography, which not only includes my books but books from other libraries and booksellers. The Bibliography is first listed by U.S. State, then Canada, then General works and Periodicals. Please email me for details.
Most of my books are housed at the Railway Mail Service Library at 127 E Main, Boyce, VA (near Winchester, VA, not so far from Washington, DC). Its in the house across from the Railway Station. I am usually there on Saturday, but a call and appointment is best. Please send me an email or SOR message for phone number.
Current the books on machine cancels are at my home, so if you would like to look at any of those let me know and I can bring them with me to my Library in Boyce.

One of our members has taken it upon himself to compile, organize into a usable format, and publish the list which is the subject of this thread. I am requesting that all members who previously posted lists of their philatelic resources to review and update those lists (when you edit your lists, please note that it is updated). Further, if you come across a list submitted by a member of whom you have knowledge is longer active, please let us know by posting his/her name here.
Other than this thread, this matter has also been addressed HERE and HERE. If you revise and/or update these older lists, please post the updates in this thread.

Did we not have a discussion before about creating a list of Philatelic Publications that SOR members have for reference?
