Hi,

Can someone shed some light on a couple of commonwealth stamps-two pence king George
Australian.

One is a two pence Australian King George with what appears to be an inverted two pence over -print. Apparently I believe only the 1 1/2 pence were over printed with two pence.

The other is KG australain two pence by printer John Ash and has a bottom ragged wide red edge. it seems to be an printing error.

Does anyone think they are worth taking to a qualified person for valuation?

The one with the red ragged edge, it is simply selvage that has been partially torn off.

Could you post a closeup of the overprint stamp? I can't seem much at the current resolution.

I do not see any overprint on the stamps. Need closer scan of the overprint.

I only see cancels on the stamps you posted.
