Has it been sitting in a drawer, or sitting in your drawers? Big difference! 
Here is what I have for page 1:
Ovid village Dec 19th 1840
Dear Friend and brother
The seventeenth day of this month was our annual Thanksgiving day and no country can observe such a day with more prosperity than our own. As a family we have at present more than usual come to render? to our Heavenly Father homage? of hearts warmed and softened by his unbounded goodness. (NOTE: It's interesting that it's "his" and not "His").
William and one of my little sisters are just recovering from long and dangerous attacks of fever for some days and had no hope of their recovery but the angel of mercy has triumphed and out little family circle is unbroken.
We observe the New England custom in keeping Thanksgiving day first by worship in the sanctuary and then by a good social dinner party. I wish you could have seen our little house full of happy faces. One of the number? would have been "our mutual friend" - Miss Joy. I do not ...
I'll let other folks do the other 2 pages.

The following letter has been sitting in my drawers for a while now. There seems to be interesting stuff in it of a religious/philosophical nature, but I can never find the time to fully "decode" and transcribe. Any interested volunteers to transcribe it?

A Service Dog gives a person with a disability independence. Never approach, distract or pet a working dog, especially when (s)he is in harness. Never be afraid to ask questions to the handler (parent).

Yup, I wrote that down but didn't type it, it's actually "... mutual friend ABOUT whom you seem ..."
