re: Looking for manilla stock pages.

Hi Jerry,
I can usually find them on ebay for around 50 cents each. Is that too high? I've stopped buying empty stock sheets, however. I can sometimes find cheap collections on stock pages for about the same price - almost as if the stamps are a bonus! Be careful of postage, naturally...

re: Looking for manilla stock pages.

Steve,
I had a similar but opposite experience. I obtained all of my stock pages by buying lots that were in the pages, so I bought the stamps and got the stock pages for free. Same result as you but viewed from a different perspective. Either way, lots on pages is a great way to get stock pages!

re: Looking for manilla stock pages.

I have picked up a good lifetime supply of used manila stock pages at 10c/each. Most have just minor writing on them.
I got them from the "Postal History Foundation" a non profit Educational Philatelic Organization that accepts donations (stamps album and supplies), and recycles them to fund their educational museum and library activities.
If you are in Tucson, I suggest you look them up. They have a great reference library, and a historical post office museum with really old machines as well.

Don't know how much they currently have in stock, if they will ship, and what this will cost you with S/H fees added, but if you visit them in person you may be able to get a lot of reasonably priced stamps, supplies, etc...and meet some dedicated collectors as well. Or give them a call.
As a member, you will also get a 10% discount on any purchases.
