Bob, are you a member of the APS? You can get letters translated for you through the APS translation volunteers.
I am an APS member, and I have had translations done by APS volunteers. However, they aren't really volunteers in that they charge, sometimes quite a lot. I was hoping that someone in Stamporama might enjoy the challenge (and save me some money!) Mainly, I want to know that I haven't made any egregious errors in my translation.

Several days ago I posted a new topic in the "Europe — Other" discussion topic, about a French cover posted during the Algerian War by a French paratrooper. The cover included a letter, in French, which I have attempted to translate. So far no one has commented.
