Hello,

was a member a good few years ago and then somehow managed to lose both my user name and password.

The approval books are a great idea and I look forward to listing some of my many duplicates of fairly modern GB and machins, ( fairly modern being the last 50 years or so ).....both mint and used.

Best wishes to you all,

Brian.....AOP2B on Stamporama.

Another Brit returning to the fold !! I too was absent but am glad to be back. I could be imagining things but it doesn't seem to be as a busy as it was.

Malcolm ( from even less sunny Leicestershire !)

What does the sun look like? In Wales even the penguins are wearing scarves.

Hi Everyone;

Welcome back Brain, I'm just a newbee on here since Summer 2014. Hope to see more of you on here and see your stamps too.

I once had a customer that bought stamps from my eBid.net store (I don't sell there anymore), who lived in Falkirk, near the really cool boat-lift. Only the Scotts could build such a far-out and cool thing as that. It just looks like it belongs in the Martian Chronicles or Star Trek.

Again Welcome
TuskenRaider

Welcome back aboard Brian, from sunny SW Florida, where we have a lot of boat lifts, but nothing like the one Tuskenraider was referring to. Enjoy your time here on SOR.
Here is a link for anyone that wants to check out the boat lift.

That is amazing. I love it. We have boat lifts here in Ontario too, but they are nothing compared to that one.
Ours are like bathtubs side by side. One goes up as the other goes down. That's it. But they are still interesting to watch, and I never get tired of watching whenever I get to them.

Hi Everyone;

Glad you enjoyed the boat lift, it is a really cool looking structure.

As to the gloomy weather in Scotland, its very cloudy here also. We only have 2-3 inches of snow. But this coming weekend we will warm up and melt all the snow and replace it with rain. Yuck!
