For years, I often referred to AskPhil, an on-line philatelic glossary hosted by the Collectors Club of Chicago. Without question, it was the larges such glossary available on-line. Then one day a couple of years ago, I couldn't find it. Nor could I find a way to contact anyone about it.

Finally, yesterday, I was able to send a message via the CCC's web site, and this morning received a response from the president, Charles E. Cwiakala. He wrote,

"The ‘AskPhil’ web site was closed a couple of years ago…because of its high monthly maintenance costs, as incurred by the Collectors Club of Chicago (the web site was managed by a free-agent outside organization, whose annual fee ran into the upper 4-figures).

"The CCC is replacing the ‘AskPhil’ web site with its own, which has been constructed by the membership: www.collectorsclubchicago.org. The CCC web site is in the final stages of construction, and will have its official launch in January 2015. Feel free to visit that web site to preview what is has to contribute."
