the RTS looks official; the air mail a privately produced cachet, and one i've not seen before
Thanks for the info!
I got the Air Mail stamp about 20 years ago. It came from a P.O. in a town of less then 400 full-time residents. I don't know of a commercial or private airport within 100 square miles of there, so I'm not sure they used it too many times. When I asked about it, the current postmaster said it had been there as long as he had. I'm not sure how long that had been, though.
It's a fun thing to have and over the past 20 years I've stamped all the kids and grandkids with it, at least once.

As a United States airmail collector, I must say that the air mail stamp is great!

Thanks Fellas!
Do you suppose the Biplane is any indication of age or just a whimsical image produced well after WWII? A Google search pulls up nothing on the company that made the stamp.

I only have these 2, they were damaged or outdated from area P.O.'s. Dumpster diving at it's best.
I'm not sure how old they are, the Air Mail I got several years ago, the RTS more recently.
