I was looking at them the other day. I believe it's a lady. The description said she worked for a large stamp dealer and was breaking up the catalogs.
I've had excellent luck with their catalog sections. I'm not sure how they cut them apart so neatly, but every one I've purchased has been in nice condition.
And if you don't need the first page (because it is also the last page of the preceding country) or the last page, which many times lists revenues or other types you might not collect, you can get an even better deal on the country you want. Look for the listings that say "remnant" or "scrap" in the title. He (or she) always lists in the description which listings are included or left out.

Excellent advice, Ted. I've got a bid in on a "scrap" listing right now.
Those pages make fantastic wantlists. And it is so much easier grabbing a slim pile of papers rather than wrestling the bulky catalogs.
I wonder if the reorganization of the Catalogs will affect their sales?
I have been buying from chirokmd on eBay and directly from their website http://scottcataloguepages.com for several years and have never been disappointed.
They provide a great service to collectors. Highly useful. I don't think they get much money out of it.
I do not need a full Scott catalogue. I always buy the latest Michel Naher Osten (Near East), the Michel Gulf States, the SG Middle East and the Yvert&Tellier Moyen-Orient, but I also need Scott as a reference and to compare, so I just buy the few Middle Eastern countries from Scott which I need.

I use them for checklists, seperate the pages and put them in tabbed protectors then put the whole bunch into a binder or presentation folder. Great to take to shows.
I do something similar; I put the page into an acid-free three-hole punched page protector and put it before the Vario pages with those associated stamps. I'm not interested in CV (catalogue value) but only use this for a reference point.
Now, if only I can find some Gibbons pages as Scott is not detailed enough for my British Empire and Commonwealth collections.
Peter
I would LOVE to have Michel pages like these. You're right about Scott being info light.
Thanks for the info everyone. I will give the ebay seller a look and see if he has the stuff I need.
Karl, chirokmd also has his/her own website.
www.scottcataloguepages.com
What is interesting is sometimes their prices on ebay are higher than their website and vice versa for the same pages.

Thanks to all for the info!

Some time ago there was person selling sections of Scott catalogs on ebay. Does anyone remember his ebay name or if he even still does this?
Thanks
