I must plead guilty while working on Peru i find it hard to give the same attention(status) to the postal tax area as i do the regular and airmail issues. If i am a bigot i must be punished !

To me postal taxis the same as semi-postal save the incremental tax portion is on a separate issue. I know there is further subtleties but essentially that is it. They can just separate the printing. The semi-postals are a lot more attractive (desirable)than the usual bland post tax issues. Although some of the later have their merits.

I enjoy semi postals and overprinted stamps..the tax stamps just seem bland for the most part.

Postal tax stamp designs are often uninspired. The only country for which I collect them with a passion is Panama.
