just letting you know that many people have read your request; their silence is likely a result of them not knowing. There are only a few FDC collectors here. I don't know if there are HRH Diana collectors.

Hi David,
Yes I understand and I am in no rush but I think people are confused in my question as I keep getting the ATA coming up, who in desperation I have also just emailed but they of stamp knowledge and not FDC's but who knows they maybe my answer.
What I really cannot believe is, the Mystic Stamp company who took Fleetwoods over, does not have archive details of previous Fleetwood collections!!
And with the Postal Commemorative Society and its sister publication here in England (Danbury Mint) both could not come up with information of their own collections, now 1997 is not that long ago??? Now the information I needed on this set I have done all my lonesome. The problem with the Fleetwood collection, I have yet to find a complete collection and I cannot do my work until I have the answer of how many countries they issued FDC's for. To be honest, I would have thought Fleetwoods would have been a bigger seller than the PCS collection but maybe Fleetwoods were more specialized. They are certainly more attractive than the PCS Collection as on the reverse is a description.
I hope to be coming to the States in the near future and maybe I shall have a week doing stamp research.
Thanks for your time David,
Julian
Oh David,
I forgot to say what a great woofer your picture is.
May Alsation (German Shepherd) was a beauty, her name was Cally and she had a great attitude, also loved a Ice cream
Julian,
glad you like Dehlia. she's here right now, wondering why I'm writing about her and not playing with her. Her sister is a European champion, and she comes from great blood lines (more than we deserve, if I'm honest).
I don't use Mystic, so I don't really know their reputation for answering specific questions, but it is odd that they'd buy a company and not know their stock. My guess is that Fleetwood is so tied to mass produced material that any specialized stock is either cost-prohibitive to catalogue or just doesn't exist. Just a guess in the absence of real information.....
David
Julian,
Welcome to SOR and it seems you have chosen a great subject to collect.

Hi David well I hope this is not breaking stamp forum rules talking about dogs but your Dehila looks more alert than mine did, she was NO guard dog thats for sure.
I called her sniffy as thats what she was always doing when we were out and it was rare to have to call her because of other dogs because she was so placid.
Great dogs though and should I ever get another I know what breed it will be.
Julian
she is a great dog, Julian. she picks up commands almost instantaneously, wants to work, has great drive. AND she's a family dog, with very different relationships with me, my wife, and my daughter. Just love her
"Did you guys tell Julian about the 3 step initiation ?"
Hi All,
I am from England and have joined StampoRama for a special reason. My own stamp forum have not been able to assist me in my quest for information.
I collect FDC's and stamp sheets mainly and I do a lot of international transaction through Ebay with the States.
I used to collect and buy coins as well until shipping prices got way to much.
I collect 2 main sets of FDC's and that is Postal Commemorative Society & Fleetwwods Princess Diana Memorial collections 1997/8. I was able to get al the information about PCS easily and indeed contacting them was fun. However Fleetwoods are now Mystic Stamp and they have not been able to help.
I have made a thread under world collecting but I will also ask here, I am trying to find out how many countries are in the fleetwood collection, I have 59 so far.
the PCS collection was 103 with a total 107 covers I do not think from what I have seen in the States that the Fleetwood collection is not as big and I think I am pretty close to a full set if not already there with 59 but I just need someone who knows about Fleetwoods to confirm this.
So if you know what countries are in the Fleetwood collection please feel free to list them.
Julian
