My wife collects St. Nicholas (not Santa Claus) so she was happy when i found a 1916 copy of St.Nicholas magazine for children at a yard sale. I loved the hundred year old ads..a top of the line Daisy pump action BB gun sold for three dollars...but when i did the calculations on a dollar from 1916 to 2016 their 3 dollars equated to 66 dollars and change in our money..still pricey for a kid of 12 or so !
