Welcome! I collect Ukrainian postal history from the same era. I find that transition between the Soviet Union to independent country quite fascinating.
Hello Cursus,
Welcome to Stamporama. It can be very informative.

Welcome Cursus!
I recognize your username from other stamp forums...
Since you collect food and botanicals, I was wondering if you collect the stickers they put on fruits and vegetables? I do not collect those stickers, but I know others that do.
I have even traded some fruit/veg stickers for stamps! (I have also traded sugar packets for stamps!)
Again, welcome to the group.
Dave N.
Thank you very much for your welcome. Yes, I use the same nickname in another 4 forums. The "Cursus publicus" was the name Romans gave to their postal System; and, as I'm from a city founded by them more than 2.000 years ago, I choosed that name.
I'm afraid I only collect stamps and poster stamps or covers. No fruit labels nor other stickers. I'm sorry.
Welcome Joan,
You know what I collect, hope all is well.
Greetings!
Collect Great Britain now. Was collecting Australia, US and Colonial Africa, but was spreading myself too thin. Only so much time and money. So GB it is. I hope.
Cheers!
Eric
Benvinguda, Joan!
Thank you very much to all.
I'm in touch with Michael (Londonbus1) since many years ago and we've been together on some fòrums. Having him somewhere it's always a guarantee of seriuousness and interest. But I'm afraid, Michael, that you also know what are my interests and how limited are my potential contributions to the forum's knowledge wealth! Anyway, I'll do my best.
Hello to all! I'm glad to be here.
I'm Joan, from Barcelona, Catalonia. At 58, I collect stamps since I was 12. My current main interest are used stamps from many W. European countries (UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia...). Also 1990/92 Estonian Postal History, Barcelona Postal History and Food and Botanics on stamps. Lately, I've collecting poster stamps.
I'm on a number of stamp fòrums and I'm willing to learn and, perhaps, to somewhat contribute to this fòrum.
