Here's some railroad pictorial cancels from back in the day.. on my own ODDITY Cachet of course!
Her is one from me, Switzerland 1947. Its not a first day cover, but still interesting and with a theme.
I love trains (N scale models mostly) and I have a few stamps of trains--but I am not a train topic collector. And since we are sharing

Admittedly, I have a fondness for Japanese trains.

Because I have kind of fallen in love with FDCs and covers, I thought I'd share this one for no other reason than that trains are cool, the 1920's are cool and THAT stamp is cool!
P.S. Does anyone know the artist of this? It looks like Paul Calle and Chris Calle (lower right), but it is hard to tell.
