Glad you are back safe and sound!
Modern air travel is mess. Nothing is easy.
I used to like flying, but haven't liked it for a long time. We need to develop transporter systems like are used in Star Trek.
Welcome back Phil!

Brother Phil:
Welcome back!

The older I get, the more I like to stay put. Really I'm quite content to sit at home and mess about with my hobbies, and frankly, don't have near enough as much time for them as I would like. I did plenty of traveling the world when I was younger, so I guess I got it out of my system!
Glad to hear you are back. I was getting tired of hanging out with Tott...
Saw him Sunday, he sends his regards to all.
"i did have some fun in Amsterdam watching the American tourists lined up in front of Kentucky Fried Chicken, i would not eat it here...why would i eat it there ?"
When I travel away from home, I have a rule that I do not eat at places where I could eat at home. I prefer to sample local eateries, and love to chat with local owners of small restaurants. You learn so much about the people in other places by doing that. Isn't that what traveling is all about? Learning and experiencing things you can't at home?
You never know until you try!
I am back on U.S. soil, but i am not the man i was 3 years ago...Airports, getting to and from, hurry up and wait..modern airline travel...hate to say it but up to me i would prefer my own backyard with a good book. Rant over...i will sort out any sales i have to ship out. Cheers, phil
