As long as beer doesn’t run out I’m fine!
Through this stressful and trying time we have tried our best to put a positive spin on it. I first thought that I wouldnt be working but then got the very welcomed news that I'd be working from home. Both me and my middle daughter returned from the west coast just as the quarantine announcements started to come down. Me, my wife and Grace hunkered down and scarcely left the house for 2+ weeks. I recently bought a pit boss pellet smoker and we have given it a full workout. Pork butt, steaks, salmon, baby back ribs, and beef roasts. We have cooked it all. I have had fun working all of this up with my daughter. We literally watched Netflix all day and watched the smoke waft up as we talked about how awesome dinner was gonna be. Shes 21 and semi engaged so I was keenly aware and thankful for the time. Please go away COVID19. We all have lives to live.
Chris, I've put on a bunch of weight! I'd have to bike ove the Golden Gate Bridge everyday to work this off. Stay tuned! I'll get back where I was.
Yesterday, I made an apple pie. Yum.
I normally make this only when we have company as it is too much of a good thing.

I LOVE candy!
Always have and I make sure to have some every single day.
That said, I also have a good workout regimen and a gym at home.
Loving Candy = MUST workout = No ifs, ands, or buts !!!

I favor peanut M&M's and Reese's Peanut Butter cups but the sheltering has not changed my likes.
I find myself missing going out to my favorite restaurants! I’d really give thanks if I could just sit at the bar with a beer and some wings! Two of my restaurants are taking orders for curbside pickup. And wouldn’t ya know, neither is offering my favorite on their limited menu!
Cheers,

That sourdough bread would sure need a lot of jam per slice, a pound probably would not fill all the holes.
By coincidence today, this was on the BBC website.

Nice video to accompany the article.
My favourite meal is Painted Desert Noodles. It is vegetarian, but any kind of meat goes well with it.
When next I go for groceries, besides stuff for Banana Bread, I'll be buying stuff for this! Absolutely delicious. Found it in the newspaper back in 1998 & have been enjoying it ever since!
With me it's Popcorn. (Buttered). My wife likes Kettle Popcorn so she buys each in Individual serving size bags. We both win. This weekend we'll have to go online and order groceries. We can then go at a scheduled date and time and the store puts them in your trunk for you.
I wanted a bit of normalcy for the weekend so I went shopping for something to grill. Supermarket didn’t have ribs or fresh wings at all. They did have packs of drumsticks so Buffalo legs it is! We all must make sacrifices!
Chicken thighs are great on the grill, too -
they don't dry out like chicken breasts can.
Had a nice warm bowl of oatmeal this morning with honey and pumpkin seeds.
Another post mentioned the term "Comfort Food"...
So, what is your favorite "Shelter-In-Place/Quarantine Comfort Food"?
I'll start... mine is: Skittles (American candy), Black Jelly Beans and Pork Rinds
I know... kind of weird...
