Doesn't "bicentennial " mean the 200th anniversary?
Neither of these covers actually appears to be 200 years after the event being commemorated. What am I missing here?

1932 was the 200th anniversary of U.S. President George Washington's birth.

Oh ok. So the bicentennial has nothing to do with the dates on the cover other than Washington was involved?

the Hudson Valley is home to some of the finest strategic retreats in history, starting with the Battle of Brooklyn
There's an interesting book that covers ONLY the battles in the Hudson Valley, although put in a good context
