Doesn't "bicentennial " mean the 200th anniversary?

Neither of these covers actually appears to be 200 years after the event being commemorated. What am I missing here?

the Hudson Valley is home to some of the finest strategic retreats in history, starting with the Battle of Brooklyn

There's an interesting book that covers ONLY the battles in the Hudson Valley, although put in a good context
