i have passed the place on route 9 just South of Poughkeepsie thousands of times..i guess in our elder years i am getting curious(in more ways than one) Its a pretty Hudson River Estate which is a non profit foundation..in other words free..a 2 dollar donation is suggested. Many of the rich and famous living in New York City had summer places on the river. Mr Morse was an artist and inventor of the telegraph..yay i passed the 20 word (or group) per minute as a radio operator. Some operators could send and receive 60/70 per minute.
