If you have a Michel Germany specialized you need Vol.1 1849 - 1945 in the first part of the catalog you find the German states that would include Hannover
I had the same problem with a nice Brunswick stamp. I put it on a spare page just before my German states in my Scott's International. It's not ideal, but it works!
Simple. Don't use Scott albums (ducks for cover and runs.......)
Just sent you by email what my Yvert & Tellier catalogue (French) gives as info, hope this will help, if you need translation, I will do my best to give you appropriate translation.
People crap on the poor old Scott International albums. I think they're fine as long as you realize that the rarer stamps are not included. If you end up with any of the more unusual stuff you have to get creative. I must admit my Ireland and Cuba collections are a bit spread out, but if I object all I have to do is buy a separate album for the country as I originally did for US, Canada, Russia and Poland many years ago.
