I keep learning more and more from those loonis up there, so to us is the west coast and the east coast, is it safe to assume that the other end of Canada is the Pacific Canada?
and BTW I predict that the winner will be the team that score the most points, I think this is a good bet.
Just so you know - Atlantic Canada is made up of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. There is another name, The Maritimes, which is only NS, NB and PEI - I have no idea why Newfoundland is not included. It just isn't! My geography lesson for the day.
KC 37-25
And we Bluenosers (NS) call the other end the “Left Coast” - both geographically and politically appropriate.

Honestly, I have never run into the term "left coast", I know since Bluenosers are always right, we are definitely the "right coast". I used to live in Alberta for two years and whenever any one out there referred to Eastern Canada, they usually meant Ontario or more specifically Toronto. It was sort of like we didn't exist way out here. We also have a very skewed idea about the geography of Canada. Believe it or not the Center of Canada, geographically, is around Winnipeg. Another geography lesson for the day! Actually most younger people know very little about geography or history now, I taught in high school for 34 years, so I know. The people who know our country the best are the immigrants - thank God for that, at least someone does! I hope none of this insulted anyone, that wasn't the intent. My friends, few that they are, tell me sometimes I misspeak.
Being a Geography freak I appreciate the update of Canada, thanks guys.
And BTW i'm still 100% in SB picks, TB won!
UPDATE:
I always wondered what it would be like if the Pittsburgh Steelers played the Hamilton Tiger Cats.
Now I know...
I assume the TiCats are the Buccaneers in this analogy?
That last time the Super Bowl came to town I took two days leading up to the game off to avoid the crazy traffic. My office was a stone's throw from the stadium.
We are waiting for a big storm in Atlantic Canada this evening. So my prediction - A lot of "pissed off" people when we lose power half way through the game!!!
