Well I tried to upload some photos but I'm having to crop them to much and it kind of defeats the purpose. But thats inside the Wynn. In my opinion it's the nicest property in Vegas. But Bellagio and the Venetian and Palazzo are extremely nice also.
One last thing. Resort Fees. Don't be fooled by low hotel rates. Many are advertising $17 a night. But beware. Resort fees up to 40 a night and that rate is only if you book at least a month in advance. They don't call it Sin City for nothing. Also many of the elevators and moving stairs that are connected to the overpasses that sometimes need to be crossed are inoperable. Plan on climbing alot of stairs if planning on doing some sight seeing. Luckily I'm in decent shape. Only the first day was fun.
One of my sons will be going more often now that the Raiders are in town...now he does not have to go to Frisco or Oakland...he can do it all in one trip !
Hey Phil how are you doing ? Yes they have all kinds of Raider items selling like hot cakes. That new stadium they built sure is something. Wow. The Strat also invested 125m into just a sign....It's the new welcome to Las Vegas sign. Although it's not fully completed. And I just heard before I left that it wasn't going to be. It is the way it will be for awhile. But I think in time things will hopefully bounce back.
And honestly they seemed pretty busy actually and are predicting that it will pick up alot more now that everyone is getting vaccinated. But they sure need to find more people to fill the void for the upcoming rush. That's for sure. And that stadium looks like it could lift off the ground.
Uuuuuummmmm...nothing exists in Las Vegas to give you money, all casinos strive to relieve you of your money, from $1.00 shrimp cocktails to 4.99 steak dinners and free drinks while happily giving your money to the house. The goal never changes, that is the business the casinos are in, has been and will always be. Casinos want you leave feeling good about giving them your money.
Agreed. But they aren't doing a very good job at the "making you feel good" part anymore. They are seriously lacking. Just my two cents.
I'd advise anyone considering a trip to Las Vegas right now to reconsider. The hotels are cut throat from going without tourism for so long. They will overcharge you and make up every excuse in the book to keep your money. Also they really don't have enough employees at all. Many of the smaller vendors at the hotels and such are closed. Doubt if many will ever reopen. Also no one is driving for the taxi service or Uber. I missed my flight home because I could not get a taxi. Or Uber. Lucky I caught a later flight only 2 hours after. But had to fly standbye the whole way. Actually that turned out ok. Glad to be home though.
