When i go to the show every year i spend about 75 percent of time and 85 percent of my money with one dealer...he likes to move volume and prices are very negotiable..i kept going back to a good sized binder of late 19th century Netherlands that have a pretty good percentage of numeral and large circular cancels...the price did not make sense to me due to heavy duplication and he showed me what the previous owner had listed as the total catalog value. So as usual i wait until 3:30 on Sunday because i know he wants to pack as little as possible home...So i hold up the book and say Ok whats the best we can do on this ? Thirty bucks !! done, heres a 20 and a 10 !! I guess we are both happy...There are no huge catalog values...but the fun i will have putting together stock pages of the numeral and large circle cancels is well worth it !!

It's always a great feeling when you feel like you got a good deal.
