Thank you Philb,
You have identified what I am to me-all these years I always thought of myself as an accumulator,a hoarder, an obsessed person, undisciplined in taste and thought for my stated hobby, an OCD(obsessive compulsive personality)when in reality I was a MAGPIE collector. Who knew!
It is so much better to be a Magpie than any of those other things-I feel renewed and energized-A Magpie collector--I love it!!
In appreciation,
Dan C.
interesting that two of the labels are in English, not Italian.
Advertising labels are cool! I have a mini collection of danish labels -- note the GM radiators. Those really appealed to this "magpie" because I am a GM retiree. I also think the cover is nifty as it is addressed to the FIP.
Those labels are in English. Thanks for pointing that out David. I guess they knew their target market.
I love being a magpie collector..acquiring what appeals to me..covers both foreign and domestic..i try to keep my collections in some kind of order, cinderellas, worldwide in the scott internationals ,better covers of Argentina,Guatemala,Italy and Netherlands and on and on...i think these are nice..Ah Campari, i used to have a love affair with it !
