a member brought in a box of inexpensive U.S. covers to the club tonight (not AMSD) i pick up these different APS Convention covers as a sideline collection !Image Not Found
i am not going to erase the address !

I was not alive then, but some friends that are well into their old ages say
that there were a lot of larger conventions at the Sam Houston Coliseum, which
no longer exists. The place had everything from car shows, to rodeos, to the
WHA Houston Aeroes and Gordie Howe with his kids. Even had chicken wire above
the boards the first year instead of glass.

Yee ha ! i have more APS convention covers..but heres one for the graybeards among us..Yes,there was once a Society of Philatelic Americans..heres a cover from that magic year i got out of High School..theres a report card and diploma somewhere !Image Not Found
