I have been a member for a while, but never actually introduced myself or my interests.
I am from Cape Town, South Africa. Have been collecting stamps seriously for about 5 years.
My main interest is Transvaal, especially unusual Transvaal cancellations, as well as Germany up to the end of WW2.
I am a collector, and believe in the old habit of exchanging stamps. I have been very successful with this, and I am also actively encouraging the people in our local stamp clubs to follow suit.
Should you be interest in an exchange, I do have a lot of material from SA, Africa as well as many other countries.

Hi Bluegum,
Good to hear from you. I'm also a South Africa collector, well perhaps hoarder is a more accurate description. You seem to have fairly specialize interests. Do you find it hard to find the stamps that you are looking for?

Hello Bluegum, with a Dutch wife i have moved on from collecting just the Netherlands to the Dutch Indies (i really like the old postcards with town cancels) And picked up postcards from the "Old Transvaal" along the way..when they are not TOO expensive. Welcome !
